These terms cover your use of Nemu — the Reels & Shorts Blocker app — and the optional paid subscription. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to them.
The app
Nemu counts and, on a paid subscription, blocks the Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts screens on your device using Android's accessibility service. Detection is best-effort: it depends on Instagram and YouTube's own screen layouts, which can change without notice and temporarily break detection until we ship an update.
Free and paid tiers

Billing
- Subscriptions are sold and billed through Google Play Billing. We never see or store your card, UPI ID, or bank details.
- The free trial, where shown, is offered by Google Play to accounts it considers eligible — typically first-time subscribers. If you've had a Premium subscription before, you may not see a trial offer again.
- Subscriptions auto-renew at the listed price unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- If a renewal payment fails, Google will retry it for a period before the subscription lapses — you won't lose access the instant one payment attempt fails.
Cancelling
Cancel any time from the Play Store: Play Store app → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Nemu → Cancel. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the current billing period ends, then the app returns to the Free tier — it keeps counting, it just stops blocking. Nothing about your history or settings is lost.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Google Play under its own refund policy, not by us directly. If you believe you were charged in error, request a refund through Google Play first; contact us at the address below if that doesn't resolve it.
Account
You need a Google account to sign in. You're responsible for keeping access to that account secure — anyone who can sign into it can sign into Nemu as you. See the account deletion page if you'd like to close your account.
Acceptable use
Don't use Nemu to circumvent Instagram's or YouTube's own terms of service, attempt to reverse-engineer the detection rules to evade blocking for someone else, or resell/redistribute the app or its data. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the promo code or referral system.
No warranty
Nemu is provided as-is. Detection accuracy, blocking reliability, and background survival depend on your device's OEM battery-management behavior, which we don't control. We work to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee it will block every Reel or Short every time.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app changes. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
